ECOMMERCE & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR:

The E-commerce & Operations Coordinator is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for supporting the daily operations of KILLSPENCER’s e-commerce business, production workflow, showroom activity, and administrative needs. This role works closely with the founder and production team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, systems are organized, and customers receive a high-touch brand experience. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive self-starter who enjoys managing details, executing processes, and keeping operations running smoothly in a small, fast-moving, design-driven company.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. E-commerce Order Management and Fulfillment – responsible for supporting daily e-commerce order processing, including packing, shipping, and fulfillment of online orders. This includes coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments through third-party shipping platforms, tracking deliveries, and assisting with the resolution of shipping issues or claims when they arise. The role also involves maintaining the organization of shipping supplies and packaging materials, as well as working closely with the production team to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and delivered on time.

2. Customer Relations and Sales Outreach – provides front-line support to both e-commerce and showroom customers via email, online chat, and in-person interactions. This includes assisting customers with product questions, brand education, and order placement. The Coordinator supports the processing of custom orders and invoicing through Shopify and assists with relationship-building by clearly communicating KILLSPENCER’s brand story, product offerings, and special projects.

3. Showroom and Inventory Management – supports scheduling and managing showroom appointments and in-store pickups. Responsibilities include assisting with opening and closing procedures, processing sales transactions, returns, and exchanges, and helping maintain a welcoming, organized retail environment. Also assists with visual merchandising, product organization, and ongoing inventory tracking. This includes helping conduct inventory counts, monitoring discrepancies, supporting loss prevention procedures, and assisting with weekly sales and inventory reporting.

4. Production and Vendor Coordination -  assists with purchasing raw materials, parts, and trim, and helps track vendor orders and deliveries. This role includes coordinating communications with vendors, supporting pre-production approvals, and assisting with maintaining production calendars and timelines. The Coordinator also supports the organization of workshop materials, parts, and tools to improve efficiency, cleanliness, and overall workflow within the production space. Occasional local vendor visits may be required.

5. Ecommerce Product and Marketing - assists with the daily management of the Shopify backend, including uploading new products, updating content, and ensuring product information remains accurate. The role involves organizing and maintaining digital assets such as product images, lifestyle photography, and video content.
In collaboration with the design and marketing teams, the Coordinator supports the execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotional calendars. This includes assisting with email marketing setup and scheduling in Mailchimp and coordinating assets across digital channels while adhering to brand guidelines.

6. Maintenance and Administrative  – Maintaining a clean & presentable environment at all times. Cleaning shipping area and showroom, restocking shipping supplies, moving boxes – must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Order supplies for the office to keep it running smoothly - paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, printing paper, ink, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, etc. Additional assistance with sales goals and projections, special projects, events, social media content, and other miscellaneous initiatives.

CRAFTSMAN (SEWER):

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Cutting, sewing, and manufacturing – responsible for cutting, gluing, sewing, and all other manufacturing processes that are required to produce our product line and other leather products and soft goods.

Experience with leather, canvas, nylon, and other soft good materials.
