KILLSPENCER | Flushing Meadows Special Edition Racket Case
This year’s US Open was more than a chance to play tennis at Arthur Ashe Stadium. It became inspiration for something new at KILLSPENCER.
The energy, architecture, colors and atmosphere of Flushing Meadows inspired us to create the Flushing Meadows Racket Case—a special edition piece designed around our experience in New York. The US Open has always had a distinct energy that feels inseparable from the city itself.
For the case, we also wanted to experiment with a completely new way of manufacturing. We developed a process we’re calling Pressure Forming—a non-sewn quilting method that creates a dimensional pattern in the material without traditional quilting stitches.
It’s an idea that came directly out of experimenting in our Los Angeles workshop and looking for new ways to construct familiar products.
The result is a racket case that connects our experience at the US Open with a new manufacturing process we can continue exploring across future KILLSPENCER products.
Made in Los Angeles.
